ESP - Ecommerce Shopping Portal for Miva Merchant is a stand alone
application designed to display Products from multiple stores in
a single search engine.
ESP - Ecommerce Shopping Portal has several options which includes
- Sort Products by Ascending or Descending Price
- Display Products between two price ranges
- Search for
- Any Words
- All Words
- Exact Phrase
- Show search results in quantities of 10,25,30 or 50
I developed ESP - Ecommerce Shopping Portal for some of my clients with the intent to drive more traffic to their sites. It is an ideal solution for site owners or developers with multiple stores. The site is populated from a flat file generaled by William Weillands Fast Feed Module. The scripts are compiled but the Header/Footer/Body tag/Link Page are loaded from external html files. The database creation and utilities such as; reindex, re-create indexes, pack, delete domains, upload and import are all included. You can see the demo at http://www.mivaroo.com. There are 18,000 products on the demo site but ESP has been tested it with 100,000 and there was no reduction in
performance. Essentially ESP will allow anyone to setup their own product based shopping search engine.
